WHAT ARE THEY SAYING (Testimonial Video)

Knitting & Crocheting
Mrs. Dorsett was enthusiastic about sharing how she has benefitted from the knitting program. She expressed that joining the group has provided her with a way to relieve her of stress
brought on by COVID-19 in addition to the other life stresses she has been experiencing. She is grateful to have met a group of other ladies who have become like family. She explained that
the program has created other opportunities for learning such as the recent Seniors Navigating the Virtual World workshop which she said was quite beneficial. She said learning a new skill
has made her feel empowered. “I could use this skill to make money and be a blessing to others,” Mrs. Dorsett expressed. She explained that it is also an avenue through which she can
also share her skills and learn from the other participants. She continued by saying, “God bless the Resilience Center and all those responsible for these programs which are helping the
community.”

Grief & Loss Group
Losing my Dad to covid is by far the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with. When I heard about the Grief and loss counseling at GB resilience center I was overjoyed. I signed up right
away and I am forever grateful for this! Felisha and Nina were sent from heaven! In the beginning, I was so broken and angry. As weeks passed, I was taught that I have the right to be
angry, the right to live, and the right to heal... this has helped me tremendously and I thank God for these extraordinary ladies and also for GB Resilience Center.
