About the Event
This will be a hands-on session to train you how to stop life-threatening bleeding.
You will learn the following skills:
- How to stop bleeding by properly applying a tourniquet.
- How to create an improvised tourniquet.
- How to properly pack a wound using gauze.
- How to create alternative options for wound packing.
- After completing the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion on behalf of the American College of Surgeons STOP THE BLEED Program and Western Atlantic University School of Medicine.
