About the Event

The Grand Bahama Resilience Center, in collaboration with HIV AIDS Survivors Benefit G.B., is proud to present the Knowledge Matters: HIV Awareness Seminar. This event will provide essential education and resources on HIV treatment, prevention, and support, fostering a compassionate and well-informed community.


At this seminar, expert speakers will cover key areas, including:

  • Understanding HIV Medication and Adherence: Learn about antiretroviral therapy (ART) options, including single-pill regimens and long-acting injectables. Understand the importance of adhering to treatment to suppress the virus, lower transmission risks, and support loved ones in maintaining their health.

  • Living Well with HIV: Coping Strategies and Family Support: Gain insights into managing the psychological impact of an HIV diagnosis, the role of family and community in mental health, and quick tips for caregivers to offer balanced support.
