Abaco Resilience Center aims to provide the Abaco community with an array of quality outreach activities and counseling services. Since hurricane Dorian in 2019, and now the Covid 19 pandemic shortly thereafter, the need to promote community wellness is paramount.
The programs and services proposed to be held at the Abaco Resilience Center aims to assist persons in making healthy and flexible adjustments to change and stressful occurrences. The goal is to assist community members with understanding and coping with common reactions to distressing situations like Hurricane Dorian and the Covid-19 pandemic.
